Kalliope committees review and select submissions for publication. They also connect members with similar interests. All staff members are required to join at least one of the following committees:

• Fiction
  
• Nonfiction
• Poetry
• Art

Throughout the school year there are also opportunities to participate in two other committees:

• Copy editing
• Production
